As of September 24, my husband and I have been married for three months! Whoop!

So I forgot to mention one big thing in the last post. We're members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and we can use some pretty unique lingo at times. But hey! If you don't know anything about us, here's a great learning experience!!

Well, I'll be back again soon. I'm currently obsessed with all things sewing and am feeling the call to give in and look up more cool projects online :)

So! This is our blog! Welcome :) This is our first real blog, and I doubt my husband will ever want to actually post anything on here, so hopefully you won't get sick of my writing. Herein will be revealed the exciting and adventurous goings on of our life and times together.

It’s funny how things change when you get married. Besides your name I mean, if you go for tradition like I tend to do with a lot of things. The things that matter anyway. But I’ve never been exceptionally… domestic. I never wanted to learn how to sew, knit, crochet… I liked to cook, but I was never super interested. Now, I’m sewing curtains for every room in our apartment. I’m knitting when I watch movies, and when I’m not knitting, I’m reading about knitting; I have books about crocheting stuff and I haven’t even started to learn that yet. I feel my wallet about to drop through the hole it’s burned in my pocket when I see a good (often a little pricey) cookbook I don’t have. It’s crazy!

At any rate, the following probably will never boast anything terribly exciting or particularly interesting to anyone but us, and yet, I feel oddly compelled to plaster my wandering and often not very well-rounded thoughts about things on the billboard of the modern world.
