saturday morning

      This morning, Emmett was content to just sit on my lap while I checked my email, looked at a few blogs, and "shopped" for a stand mixer on amazon (they have the one I want for four cents cheaper than the list price! Score!). We listened to a little classical music before I switched it over to the Pride & Prejudice soundtrack. And he just sat on my lap, leaning back against me. And you should all know that this is totally unlike Emmett. He went to bed ultra late last night and the night before, so I think he's a little tired this morning. (Now he's sitting on the floor, quietly playing with toys. So weird.)
      Anyway, there we were chilling and listening to the soundtrack, and when we got to Darcy's Letter, Emmett sat up and started leaning side to side to the music! It was so cute. And then when he was satisfied with the dancing he'd done, he sat back and returned to chilling. Then he danced again to Your Hands Are Cold. He was even on time with parts of it :) It was so adorable. He loves music (especially classical and some country), but this was the first time he's ever danced like that. Sometimes when I put on country music he'll stand in front of the computer and kind of bounce up and down. His favorite is Knee Deep by the Zac Brown Band, haha :) Anyway.
